Transom Story Workshop Listening Event

Girl listening to radio

Transom Story Workshop Listening Event

Friday, November 18, 2011 at 7 p.m., Community Hall, Woods Hole, MA

Nine Transom Story Workshop  students have spent seven weeks learning the craft of telling stories with sound.  Join us for a public listening event on Friday, November 18th at 7:00 at the Community Hall in Woods Hole to celebrate their work and ask them questions. It’s free.

Teacher Rob Rosenthal says, “It’s hard to believe, but in seven very hectic weeks, students with barely any radio experience produced some truly stellar stories. They’re funny, touching, and very creative. In fact, most of the stories are ready for broadcast — that’s quite an accomplishment for beginners.”

The listening event will precede a brief graduation ceremony and the public is urged to join us in applauding Transom Story Workshop’s first graduating class.

Feel free to share information on the Listening event via our Facebook posting.
