Links & Resources
For a full list of public radio producer links, we refer you mainly to The Association of Independents in Radio (AIR), an organization we support and which provides information on mentoring, submission guidelines for public radio programs, links to most of the substantive public radio sites, help with the business end of things, a directory of producers, and so on. The page is free to all, but there are also benefits to membership, including a private email list (Formerly the PAG, now called the AIR Daily, hosted by Jay Allison) for dues-paying members of AIR. It’s a fine resource, a crossroads for about 300 public radio producers nationwide.
Here are a few sites we think are worth a browse, either for their public broadcasting content or their usefulness in considering radio narrative and production.
