Applications for the Fall 2012 Transom Story Workshop are now available. The Workshop will take place from October 1st – November 30th here in Woods Hole. Master radio instructor Rob Rosenthal will run the 8-week program for nine beginning producers. Applications due June 15th by midnight EST.

We’re hoping to come up with Transom Road Workshops– week-long sessions in various places around the country. We’ll keep you posted, but in the meantime, it’s helpful to know where we could gather a critical mass.
I would love to apply, but two months would be, quite frankly, quite the burden on my time and finances. I live and work in Atlanta, so a week-long traveling Transom tour would be welcome and appreciated!
I am very interested in seeing a traveling road workshop coming to Nashville, TN. I would sign up in a heart beat!
I would love it if there was a workshop on the west coast! I live in Portland OR. Or even midwest? <3 big love and respect for transom!
Thanks for the love and respect! We are talking about doing some shorter one week workshops in other parts of the country. The bast way to stay informed about all of our trainings is to join our workshop email list which you can do by writing to info at transom.org
Jay, it would be WONDERFUL to have short workshops for the basics. I really want to get in to audio storytelling but my local station isn’t moving in that direction. A week crash course would be a great starting point!!!
Yes if you could offer a week long workshop in Arizona that would be wonderful. Week long workshops are more doable than two month long workshops for me because I work full time.
